Onomatopoeia is a special kind of word in society that simulates the sounds of nature and is closely related to our human lives.It exists in the national languages of various countries around the world,plays a special role in the process of language use,and is one of the common linguistic devices.Onomatopoeia not only vividly portrays the sound of almost everything in the world,but also has an important role in making things more visual by describing them.As communication between Russia and other countries become more frequent,comparative studies between Russian and Korean have received increasing attention.Although Russian is a flexion language and Korean is an adhesion language,they are different languages,but there is a close connection between the two languages and they are comparable.For example,both Russian and Korean have rich onomatopoeic vocabularies.Scholars from the Russian and Korean circles have conducted a lot of research on onomatopoeia in their respective languages and have achieved more results.However,there are only a few comparative studies of onomatopoeia in Russian and Korean.In view of this,this paper selects some onomatopoeic words in Russian and Korean for comparative analysis.This article is divided into three parts: the first part is the introduction,which specifically explains the research background,research purpose,research significance,research objects and methods,the theoretical basis,the current status of domestic and foreign research,and the innovation and difficulties.The second part is the main text,which analyzes and summarizes the definitions of onomatopoeia in Russian and Korean,the commonality and individuality of morphological structures and syntactic features of the two languages,and summarizes the classification of onomatopoeia in the two languages.The third part is a summary,which summarizes the overall research situation and points out the shortcomings.The purpose of this article is to provide some reference for Russian learners or Korean learners in learning onomatopoeia,to help learners grasp the similarities and differences between Russian and Korean onomatopoeia,to help them improve their language expression and comprehension,and better able to improve the learners in Korean(or in Russian)translation practice ability,and to provide a certain reference for research in related fields.
