| Today’s world is information-based,and information exchanges between countries are becoming more frequent.As an important method of international communication,English plays an important role in information interaction.This also makes English teaching more and more important,and grammar knowledge is the central link in English teaching.It is one of the main ways for middle school learners to obtain and exchange information.Enhancing English grammar ability high school English grammar teaching is the entire English teaching One of the core parts is also a basic way to cultivate students’ reading and writing skills and English learning and application skills.For a long time,syntax teaching has always been a difficult and painful point in foreign language grammar teaching,and the traditional grammar teaching model has always been the mainstream of high school English teaching in my country.Traditional teaching is teacher-centered,teaching grammar,syntax or text translation,which causes students become "containers" of receiving knowledge.It is difficult to effectively improve the ability of syntactic analysis,let alone the joy of writing and reading.Therefore,exploring the use of new syntax teaching models to guide English teaching has also attracted more and more attention from English practitioners.Constructivism theory is regarded as the most promising learning theory at present,and it has gradually become a guiding theory for education and teaching reforms in various countries around the world.It emphasizes students’ active construction of the meaning of the knowledge they have learned,and active exploration and discovery of knowledge.The syntax is the core of the entire language system.Compared with lexical tenses and voice,syntactic structure occupies a more macroscopic and important position in the development of English ability.How to effectively carry out high school syntax teaching and improve the language ability and language level of high school students in a real sense,we must carry out systematic research and careful investigation.Based on the requirements and competence standards of the "Basic Education General Senior High School English Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)",this article explores how to improve the ability to use English syntactic structure in high school from the perspective of constructivism to find a practical and feasible teaching strategy The teaching method of syntax lesson fundamentally helps students improve their comprehension ability and develop their ability to use language.There are two innovations in this topic: First,constructivism theory is implemented in the middle school stage.Since constructivism and English syntax teaching,most of the previous studies have explored how to use constructivism to integrate English teaching at university and above.There are very few studies on English teaching methods,teaching strategies,and teaching models in the middle school stage.Therefore,this research is an innovation in this respect;the second is to use constructivist theory as theoretical guidance,combined with specific strategies and methods,Finally,specific strategies for English syntax teaching under the perspective of constructivism are put forward,and these strategies are used to promote the integration of English language knowledge,increase students’ interest,and achieve relatively ideal teaching results.The author hopes that through this article,the overall design of high school English syntax teaching and the innovation of teaching methods will be assisted,and then use scientific methods to improve high school students’ English syntax ability and foreign language level.In this research,the author will specifically explore the selection principles and specific methods of English syntax teaching methods under the constructivist theory,so that other teacher can learn from them in the teaching process. |
