Research On The Task-Based Teaching Mode In The Chinese Teaching Of Yasothon Technical College In Thailand

In recent years,Thailand’s economic growth mode is also gradually realizing the transformation from relying on agriculture,heavy industry and light industry to relying on intelligent industry,which is the "Thailand 4.0 " Strategy.Under the guidance of it,China-Thailand cooperation and exchanges has become more and more in-depth,and it puts new demands on Thai talent.In order to adapt to this new requirement,Chinese teaching in Yasothon Technical College has carried out task-based teaching mode.It firstly based on the investigation and interview on the learning status of students,which mainly includes learning motivation and basic learning situation,and it shows that the instrumental motivation and external motivation are dominant,and the model is applicable in the college.And then,the overall plan for task-based teaching was designed,and specific content was designed and implemented in the second semester.In addition,the grades comparison and the teaching feedback survey show that the teaching content designed based on students’ employment opportunities under the guidance of task-based teaching mode has achieved good teaching effect in Yasothon Technical College.However,Some problems were also found through survey and observation:they don’t take notes in class and don’t review after class;Don’t ask for help when they encounter problems;don’t participate in class activities,etc.Therefore,there are some suggestions:teachers should carry out appropriate classroom management;the teaching content should be chose with the students’ situation.teaching design and implementation should comply with the three stages of the task.teachers should pay equal attention to in-process evaluation and summative evaluation.
