The Study Of Ge Liang’s Family Narrative Fiction

As a new generation of academic writers,Ge Liang is rising rapidly in the literary world.He tells legendary family stories in both classical and modern language.Family motif is an important components of Chinese literature creation.This paper analyzes and combs the unique narrative characteristics of Ge Liang’s family narrative,discusses Ge Liang’s inheritance and development of the traditional family narrative mode,and how to form a unique family narrative mode.Based on the family narrative as a clue,the author studies the family narrative in Ge Liang’s novels with the methods of literature analysis and text reading under the guidance of narratology theory.On side,on the basis of explaining the definition of family narrative and discussing the traditional family narrative mode,this paper explores how Ge Liang inherits the excellent achievements of his predecessors and constantly innovates to form a new family narrative mode with unique personal characteristics.On the other hand,through the analysis of Ge Liang’s novels’ narrative time and space,unique narrative perspective and personalized language perspective,this paper combs the family narrative strategy in Ge Liang’s novels.It is found that Ge Liang inherits the traditional narrative mode with family history and family culture as the framework,makes women become the main body of narration,and breaks through the traditional family narrative framework with male characters as the main body;At the same time,the third person narrative method is used to focus on the folk,and the grand history is digested in the trivial daily life.In a cultural sense,Ge Liang takes the opportunity of telling the family story to complete his internal self root seeking and cultural root seeking.In a sense,Ge Liang’s family narrative mode provides a certain possibility for contemporary young writers to write family culture and history and tell family stories.
