Research On Definition Of Polysemous Consonantal Trigraph In GuoYuCiDian(photocopy)

This paper takes the definition of the polysemous consonantal trigraph of the Guo Yu Ci Dian(photocopy)[《国语辞典》(影印本)]edited by the Department of Chinese Dictionary Compilation as the research object,and analyzes the characteristics and laws of the interpretation.Using those words collected in the dictionary as a closed domain,explores the senses types of polysemous words,studys the institution of standards for the same part of speech senses,the relationship between the senses,and analyzes the semantic transparency of each sense of polysemous words and influencing factors.The expected purpose is to clarify its interpretation path,and strive to provide reference materials for the interpretation of polysemous words in Chinese dictionaries and the research of consonantal trigraph.It is divided into six chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the research on the interpretation and polysemy.It also defines the research object of this article and introduces the research theory and study method.The second chapter is an analysis of the senses types of polysemous words in the dictionaries,exploring the category of each sense of them.Emphatically analyzes the part of speech of polysemous words which are all common senses,and finds that single part of speech words are mainly nouns,followed by verbs and adjectives.The third chapter is the institution classification of the senses of those words in the dictionaries.Mainly explains the basis for the establishment of senses.Nouns are divided into senses mainly according to the characteristics of things.The objects involved in the action,the difference of the action itself,and the limiting factors will all affect the senses establishment of the verb.The fourth chapter analyzes the relationship between the senses of polysemous words in the dictionaries,mainly expounds the specific relationship and order of the senses.There are parallel,related,or similar relationships among polysemous senses.Words with parallel relationships are mainly arranged in the order of frequency of use,and others with related or similar relationships are arranged in logical order.The fifth chapter,research on the semantic transparency of polysemous word.With the help of dictionary definitions,analyzes the semantic transparency of each sense.The connection between the senses of polysemous words often comes from the individual meaning characteristics of the constituent elements.Meanwhile,we find that the meaning of the constituent elements will directly affect the senses institution and have a certain prompting function for the order.The sixth chapter summarizes the definition of polysemous words,and discusses the value of this dictionary in China.
