The Study On The Spirituality Of Romal Bearden’s Projection Series

Romal Bearden,whose artworks are significant milestones in the history of Montage,is one of the most creative artists in 20 th century.Romal revaled a uniqe artistic sprit by implying his personal life and extrodinary culture in his works,and therefore makes himself a markable artists to be followed.This paper aims to provide a in-depth analysis for his "Projection" series,trying to explore the spirit hidden in his artworks and then reveal what can be integrated into modern art field.This paper contains the following five sections:(1)exploring where is the "Projection" series derived from by researching African American’s life expericen and how Romal Beardon was influenced by the Cubist collage works.(2)Doing analysis based on the combination of "Peojection" series and Jazz virtualization;(3)analyzing the original spiritual characteristics of Romal Bearden’s paintings based on the Black-and-White-Themed reperesentation and the exaggeration of montage.(4)analyzing the spiritual characteristics of Romal Bearden’s "Projection" series of paintings from the perspective of identity.(5)Fianlly conclude the influence that Beardon’s work can have on modern artist as well as the society from the perspective of national identity to enhance the identification of national culture from the perspective of returning to nature...
