| The sentence pattern "不X不Y" and the contracted sentence are common sentence patterns in modern Chinese, which respectively represent a variety of semantic relations. The contracted sentence pattern "不 X 不 Y" that represents the hypothetical relationship between the two overlaps is used as one of them.A special type that appears more frequently in spoken or daily expressions. At the same time, this sentence pattern is a key and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. It is described in the "Syllabus for Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities(Long-term Advanced Study)" and "Chinese Proficiency Standards and Standards" "Grammar Level Outline" are listed as intermediate or second-level grammar items. However, through the investigation of the Beijing Language and Culture University’s dynamic composition corpus and the global Chinese interlanguage corpus,it is found that non-native Chinese learners have more errors in acquiring the sentence pattern. This article first examines the explanation of the sentence pattern in the current textbooks and the after-school exercises. The inspection found that the textbook layout of the sentence pattern only introduces the semantic relationship of the sentence pattern or only introduces the "不 X 不 Y" format’s usage of double negation. Therefore, this article firstly uses the "Construction-Chunk" theory to analyze the contracted sentence pattern "不 X 不 Y" that expresses the hypothesis relationship in detail, including the construction meaning, syntactic structure, semantics, pragmatics, and recognition of the sentence pattern. Then this article classifies the collected error corpus, and analyzes the reasons for the errors from the three levels of teaching materials, teachers and students. Finally, this article uses the "Construction-Chunk" theory to propose corresponding teaching strategies and teaching suggestions for the contracted sentence pattern "不 X nor 不" in teaching Chinese as a second language,in order to learn the sentence pattern for learners of non-native Chinese and the teacher teaches the sentence pattern to provide effective strategies and suggestions to effectively reduce the occurrence of errors. |
