| Since ancient days,china always had a high respect for life and a respectful attitude towards death,which originally from our conventional thoughts deeply exits in our brain during these thousand years.This phenomenon is not only appears in China,but also be agreed in other countries.Since the start of 20 century,with the wave of”life science” and”human freedom”,led by U.S and some western countries started to generalize “death education”gradually,and they have a mature issue until now.However,our country has not yet form such a sound education system and the way of transmission.According to the scientific judgement shows,children who are more than 3 years old have formed the concept of life and death,and death could be a know but not a understand thing for them.They have a intuitive sense identity for such”events”,and this is also a enlightenment stage of death education for these children,they can get some related knowledge and know the attitude softly and objectively.But considering that our children lack this kind textbooks and reading materials,this article point that the best way of filling the blank area in death education is children’s picture book.Firstly,this article had compared the culture and content between east and west countries,realized the necessity of “death education”for children’s growth,and did some researches about these children picture books that are issued in the market,combined our country’s social situation and education background for this analysis,and regarded 100 children who are 3-12 years old as experimental object from different financial situation and cultural background,then established the property of children picture book about “death education”.Lately,analyzed this picture book form some aspects,such as core benefits,composition technique,color analysis,creating technique,format design,texture and ext,defined the content are “children first” and “picturing death but telling live”,and took adaptation into the creation,find the balance point between children picture book and death education picture’s form art language.And put the achievement into our picture book《grandfather comes back》,which telling a story about a little girl lost her grandfather,the process from not accepting to accepting.In this book,we did comprehensive practical application into script,format,texture and color.In a word,death education and this kind picture books are still a weakness in our society,i hope it could do some contribution for death education picture books by our researches and practices in today’s community of density and highly integrated diversification,also let this picture book help children know more about death knowledge,cut down their fear of death,and understand the value of life. |
