| Career education is a complete and systematic education system.It aims at the development of people’s life.In the process of education,career and labor are put in the center.It is committed to making every student live an educational reform concept and practice suitable for their own life.With the development of economy and politics,people in more and more countries and regions are aware of the influence of career education on people’s life.Especially in the primary stage,it has important enlightenment significance for a person.It is also the initial stage of life-long education.It is also the key period of forming career consciousness under the common influence of school,family and society.Among them,it is one of the important ways to infiltrate career education with subject teaching in school education,especially English,although it is not a main course,but in school education system,teaching materials and teaching methods contain many career education materials,which can greatly enrich the content of career education.In primary school English teaching,students’ self-awareness and interpersonal communication are particularly important,and career education is an important way to achieve this goal;in primary school English teaching,infiltration of career education can also promote students’ understanding and enthusiasm for English related occupations,improve their enthusiasm for learning English,establish correct values,and have correct judgments for different occupations Conclusion and cognition lay a good foundation for the long-term development of career education.Therefore,career education in primary school has an important significance and the necessity of the development of the times.As a primary school English teacher,career education also bears a responsibility and mission.In this paper,a general public primary school in Shijiazhuang city is selected as the research object,and a survey is conducted on the situation of career education in primary school English teaching among the students in Grades 3-6 and 8 primary school English teachers in the school.This research mainly adopts the methods of literature review,case study,questionnaire,observation and interview.On the basis of sorting out and screening the theoretical knowledge of career education in primary schools at home and abroad,it selects the appropriate theory as the support to carry out the investigation.In view of the fact that the students mainly use the questionnaire survey,this paper makes an investigation and Analysis on their self career education level,their understanding of career education,and their satisfaction and demand of infiltrating career education in primary school English teaching.According to the interview method,this paper makes a research and Analysis on the consciousness of career education of primary school English teachers,the situation of careereducation in primary school English teaching,the effect of career education in English teaching and the problems and suggestions in the process of implementation.Based on the investigation of Shijiazhuang public primary school,this paper finds some problems existing in career education in primary school English teaching.It is mainly due to the lack of self-awareness and career awareness of primary school students,the lack of full excavation of career education materials in English teaching materials,and the lack of scientific organization of career education in primary school English teachers’ teaching.This paper analyzes the causes of this problem,which mainly include that the primary school students’ career education has not been paid enough attention,the primary school English teachers’ ability is insufficient in infiltrating career education and the primary school English teaching lacks necessary support.In view of these problems,the author puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions based on the research literature and the experience of developed countries and some regions in China.It is mainly to improve the understanding of primary school students’ career education,meet the students’ understanding of career education,enhance teachers’ awareness of career education,improve their ability to penetrate career education,explore the relevant content of English teaching materials,penetrate career education learning and other relevant suggestions. |
