| In recent years,the space remote sensing technology has been used in more and more extensive fields,involving resources and geological exploration,ecological environment monitoring,information detection,scientific research and many other fields.Practice shows that space remote sensing industry plays an important role in promoting economic development and safeguarding national security.The translation material of this report is excerpted from Remote Sensing from Space,where the activities and achievements of the GMOSS network on the use of remote sensing to support international peace and security are reported.The latest scientific and technological research in the field of remote sensing satellite imagery analysis is presented.This book emphasizes the important role of remote sensing technology in policy formulation.There is no Chinese version of the book at present.This report consists of four parts.The first chapter is introduction,which introduces the research background,the original text,the purpose and significance of the research.The second chapter discusses the whole process of translation,including preparation before translation,operation during translation and review after translation.The third chapter is the key part of this report.Taking the Chinese translation of scientific and technological academic papers as an example,it explains how translators choose appropriate translation methods and strategies from the aspects of vocabulary,sentence and form to convey the original information more accurately.The fourth chapter summarizes the problems encountered in the translation process,the solutions and the enlightenment gained from this translation practice.By analyzing the specific translation examples of some chapters in Remote Sensing from Space,this paper puts forward some translation methods whose aims are providing some references for translators and promoting the quality of translation in related fields.Via this report,the author hopes to help target readers realize the important role of remote sensing technology in maintaining world peace and security and the latest research results of remote sensing technology,narrow the communication gap between policy makers and scientists,and enrich the research on remote sensing technology. |
