| According to the new curriculum,it aims to develop students’ abilities of "listening,speaking,reading,viewing and writing".Compared with the previous one,there appears difference more or less,but to strengthen the ability of "reading" has never changed,which shows the importance of the cultivation of reading ability in English teaching.Reading effect and reading teaching methods are inseparable.In the current senior high school English reading teaching,teachers do not have a good understanding of the learning situation and the inherent laws of English reading,so that reading teaching is not put in the overall concept of innovation and development.There is no lack of research on discourse teaching methods at home and abroad,but there are relatively few studies on specific reading models based on this.There is a lack of systematic interpretation of the relationship between discourse analysis and teaching models,and it fails to apply theory to practice and then to theory.Based on the relevant theories of discourse teaching method,the author puts forward the reading model of "guided and interrogative application" in senior high school English by combining the learning situation of the school.This paper explores the following questions:1)Whether the teaching mode of "guided and interrogative application" in senior high school English reading is effective and the criterion is whether it can improve the reading comprehension score in the current college entrance examination questions?2)Can the "guided reading" model promote students’ interest in English reading?By applying this model to the practice of high school English reading teaching,the author finds that it can effectively promote the students’ reading ability and stimulate their reading enthusiasm.Based on the discourse teaching method and combined with the teaching practice,this paper explores the application of the "guided and interrogative" reading mode in senior high school English.The teaching method mainly consists of four steps: "introduction","integration","question" and "application".The senior High schoolEnglish reading teaching mode is guided by the discourse teaching method.It is a student-centered teaching method that stimulates students to think actively and take the college entrance examination as the orientation.Senior high school English reading mode can stimulate students’ thinking effectively,make students become the main body of learning,and improve learning efficiency.To help students form a comprehensive ability to use language.The "introduction" part includes reviewing the important and difficult points learned in the last lesson or reviewing things related to the content to be learned,laying the foundation for the new lesson.In this part,teachers should also provide students with the presentation of cultural background knowledge related to the text,activate students’ existing knowledge,and combine students’ learning situation,so that students can make preparations for fully understanding the text.The "integration" part requires teachers to conduct deep processing of the text,and then set the relevant text in the form of college entrance examination questions,so that students can read with a task and a purpose,stimulate the brain to think actively and reduce distraction.The "question" part consists of students raising questions independently or teachers raising questions that are not easily perceived by students for students to think about.Then,students are encouraged to try their best to find materials and try to answer questions.Teachers act as the organizer and supervisor in this process.This link plays the role of connecting the preceding and the following.After the integration of the text,students inevitably encounter problems that they do not understand.It may be that some words and sentences cannot be understood,or some grammar cannot be understood now,etc.Students take the initiative to find out the problem and try to solve it,reflects the principal position of students,cultivate students’ learning ability.Teachers can also set the examination points required by the college entrance examination syllabus,such as reasoning and judgment questions,detailed understanding questions,and main idea questions,according to the genre characteristics of the article,in this link to train students’ reading comprehension ability.After solving many puzzles and questions,it clears the way for the next "use" step.The "application" part includes the practice of guiding students to sort out the context of writing and to apply the transfer.First of all,find out the transitional words in the article and sort out the structure of the article.Askthe students to do the retelling exercise.Then,the teacher guides the students to appreciate the context of the article and try to apply it to their own writing.The teacher should also guide the students to find the beautiful words and phrases in the article,and let the students develop the habit of accumulating materials,so as to lay the foundation for their own writing and oral expression.Finally,the layout of the teacher’s classroom homework,can let the students recite the accumulation of beautiful words and sentences,can also let the students copy the highlights of the reading materials,can also let the students do the relevant college entrance examination questions to expand the practice to consolidate the learned content.Two classes with similar reading level were used as control subjects to carry out teaching practice for 4 months,among which the experimental class adopted the reading mode based on discourse teaching method and the control class adopted the traditional teaching mode.Through the research,it is found that the effect achieved by the model of "guided reading and applied reading" is roughly in line with the expectation.The reading model based on discourse teaching method is effective in improving students’ reading comprehension scores and can improve the reading comprehension scores in the current college entrance examination questions.In addition,this study also answers the question of whether the model of "guided reading" can promote students’ interest in English reading.Compared with the traditional reading teaching method,the teaching mode of "guided reading and applied reading" proposed by the author can promote students’ English knowledge level,emotion and will,improve their interest in reading and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning English... |
