| Writing is an important language expression ability and plays an important role in the process of language teaching and learning.Based on constructivist teaching theory,American scholar Bybee divides the whole teaching into five stages:engagement,exploration,explanation,elaboration and evaluation.Because the initial letter of English words in each stage is E,it is called 5E teaching mode.Based on the theory of ecological linguistics and constructivism,this paper combines the 5E teaching mode with the process method,innovatively applies it to the teaching of English writing in senior high school,constructs a trinity high school English writing teaching ecosystem of students,teachers and school administrators.Two questions are mainly explored: first,compared with the regular writing teaching,can the 5E teaching model from the perspective of the process method improve the English writing ability of high school students? Second,can this teaching method improve high school students’ writing self-efficacy?Using the methods of literature analysis,experiment,quantitative and qualitative analysis,this paper takes the English writing teaching of X high school in Ka Shi as the main research content,selects two parallel classes in grade one of senior high school as the research object,implements the 5E Teaching Mode from the perspective of process method in the experimental class(53 students),and uses the regular writing teaching mode in the control class(53 students).The teaching experiments were carried out for 16 weeks.The writing tests,writing self-efficacy questionnaires and random interviews between teachers and students were carried out before and after the experiment.Through qualitative and quantitative analysis and mathematical modeling of the experimental data,it is found that this teaching mode can effectively enhance the English writing ability and writing self-efficacy of senior high school students.The following enlightenment is obtained: at the student level,students should pay attention to consolidating the foundation and strengthening the construction of words,phrases and sentence patterns;diligent in thinking,good at summarizing,and cultivate good writing habits;draw inferences from one instance and make analogy;strengthen learning and communication and pay attention to teamwork.At the teacher level,group cooperation should be adopted to reduce students’ writing anxiety and improve students’ writing self-efficacy;pay attention to guidance and inspiration,look at the overall situation and look at problems from the perspective of development;the combination of multiple evaluation,the length of a ruler to make up for the short of an inch;flexible and diverse introduction of writing classroom to stimulate students’ interest in learning;strengthen the training of writing skills.At the level of school management,a good ecological learning environment should be established;give full play to the characteristics of different students;establish the overall concept and pay attention to the guidance of value orientation;coordinate various elements to build a harmonious and unified campus atmosphere;improve the evaluation mechanism to escort the development of teachers and students;improve the teacher training mechanism and build a learning campus. |
