| In recent years,with the rapid development of science and technology information,the standard of measuring talents in modern society has changed fundamentally.“Learning to learn,learning to do,learning to coexist and learning to survive ”have become the basic standards for measuring talents in the information society.Subsequently,the employers also gradually raise the threshold for candidates.For secondary vocational students,it is more and more difficult to obtain employment only by a secondary vocational education certificate,especially for medical students.Therefore,medical students can only enter the university after the end of the secondary school stage to continue to study,consolidate their major and continuously improve their lifelong learning ability to cope with the challenges of entering the society.The students in the secondary vocational college entrance examination class are lucky to have the opportunity to take part in the single entrance examination or the corresponding college entrance examination,so as to enter the University and change their destiny.However,students’ learning situation is not satisfactory,English is one of the most difficult subjects for students.They do not have great interest in learning and positive learning attitude,and even have weariness of learning.This is in contradiction with their need to enter higher-level schools.At present,the author is teaching the students in the college entrance examination class in secondary vocational school,finding that students are often in a relatively lazy state,from the daily homework and tests and most students do not grasp the knowledge firmly enough.It can not meet the requirements of the corresponding college entrance examination.This situation makes teachers worry about the future of their students.Based on such a realistic background,the research idea of this paper is: Taking the students of the college entrance examination class of a health school in Chengdu as the research object,taking the learning power theory as the theoretical basis,consulting the literature to explore the theoretical knowledge related to learning power.Through questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interviews with teachers,this paper finds out the problems of students’ English learning power and analyzes the attribution.Finally,it puts forward the strategies to improve the students’ English learning power.This paper consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the problem,research significance,core concept definition,literature review,research ideas and methods,as well as the key and difficult points and innovation points.In the second part,the questionnaire is designed and tested.The questionnaire analysis mainly includes descriptive statistical analysis,difference analysis statistics and correlation analysis statistics.This paper analyzes in detail the basic situation of the students in the college entrance examination class,the status of learning power,and the relationship between the influencing factors of learning power.The third part analyzes the problems and causes of the students’ English learning power in secondary vocational college entrance examination class.The existing problems mainly focus on memory ability,grammar application ability,questioning ability and language ability.Attribution starts with interest in learning,self-confidence in learning and enthusiasm in learning.The fourth part puts forward the strategies to improve the English learning power of the students in the secondary vocational college entrance examination class.After finding and attributing the problems of the students in the college entrance examination class in secondary vocational schools,this paper puts forward strategies to improve learning power from the aspects of memory ability,grammar application ability,questioning ability,creativity and language ability.Through the research on the English learning power of students in the secondary vocational college entrance examination class,this study hopes to help improve the quality of English Teaching in secondary vocational college entrance examination class,and promote the improvement of students’ autonomous learning and lifelong learning ability. |
