Study On Cultural Construction Of Ningbo Metro

At present,with the accelerated development of urbanization in China and the further expansion of the scope of central urban areas,the backbone of metro,as a means of long-distance transportation in cities,is becoming more and more important.With more and more cities entering the Metro era,the Metro has no longer only the transport function,but also the people’s demand for convenient transportation,comfortable travel experience,interior decoration and cultural activities to bring physical and mental pleasure is increasing day by day.As quasi-public goods,Metro has the characteristics of incomplete non-exclusiveness,non-competitiveness and positive externality.Meanwhile,as a symbol of urban progress,its cultural manifestation represents the concentration and sublimation of urban culture.The Metro culture with abundant types plays an active role in improving the Metro environment,improving the city’s grade and highlighting the city’s soft power.Therefore,more and more city managers have come to the consensus of building metro culture.Based on the Metro culture of developed cities such as London,New York,Taiwan,Beijing and Shanghai,this paper points out the shortcomings of Ningbo’s Metro culture and puts forward constructive suggestions on construction ideas,concepts and financial support in the future through literature review and comparative analysis.The structure of the article is divided into four parts.Firstly,this paper discusses the concepts of metro public space and Metro culture,and expounds the significance of Metro culture construction and its basic development direction from the connection between Metro culture and urban culture and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.In the second part,through the development of Metro culture in Leningbo in the aspects of station space design,cultural activities planning and citizen participation,the existing problems and the main causes are analyzed.The third part,through the case analysis of the cultural construction of Metro in advanced developed cities,draws the reasons for its success and can draw lessons from experience.In the last part,aiming at the bottleneck and main reasons of the development of Ningbo Metro culture,it is proposed that we should abandon instrumentalism,pay attention to humanistic aesthetics,ensure the source of funds,and guide the participation of multiple subjects to develop Ningbo Metro culture construction.Through this research,I hope to provide some theoretical basis and practical basis for the construction of Metro culture,and further enrich cultural function demonstration,adhere to people-oriented,and ensure sustainable development by system construction in the next step of Ningbo Metro Construction in the combination of "book-based Ningbo","film-television Ningbo","music Ningbo" and "creative Ningbo".
