The Study Of Relationship Between Cultural Policy And Current Korea Film Industry

The guidance and support of film policies are of great significance to the healthy development of the film industry.The 1990 s was an important period for the rapid development of Korean films.By the end of the 1990 s,Korean films had achieved rapid development.Riding on the "Korean Wave",they began to go abroad,swept Asia and the world.The rapid rise of Korean films during this period was inseparable from the correct guidance and support of a series of policies of the Korean government.The proposal of its "cultural nation-building" strategy and the transition of its film policy have raised the revitalization of the Korean film industry to a higher level,and has become an important force in promoting Korean films to protrude into the world.According to the "2018 Global Film Industry Development Report" released by the Beijing Film Academy,from 2011 to 2019,the Korean Film Industry Composite Index quickly rose from seventh in the world to fourth,making it one of the world’s film powers.Cultural policy plays an indispensable role in the success of South Korean film industry.Although Chinese scholars pay close attention to the rise of South Korean films,most of them focus on the study of South Korean films themselves,such as film scripts,film technology and film industry chain,and there are few studies on the cultural policies implemented by South Korean film industry.Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship between cultural policies implemented in South Korea and the development of the film industry to identify effective cultural policies for the development of the film industry.After defining the relevant concepts of film and film industry,the author reviews and analyzes the construction process of cultural policies and institutional system of film industry in South Korea in recent years.The author of the 1990 s after the policy of contemporary Korean movie was analyzed,and found the South Korea mainly by the the open policy of culture to broaden the film industry investment channels,through cultural return policies to change of film talent education mode,through cultural casting to create international brand of the south Korean film,through the establishment of the cultural effect of the film industry to revive south Korean film industry.
