In ancient China, the feudal emperors’ Patrol(Linxing and Xingxing)was a political act of strengthening centralized rule, controlling the place and showing the authority of the emperor. With the end of the imperial system, the patrol of the emperor no longer existed. After the outbreak of the September 18th Incident,Japan quickly occupied the three northeastern provinces in a few months. In order to better control the northeast,it concocted a so-called "Manchukuo state" under the control of the Kanto army, supported the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty,Pu Yi,as the "ruling" and "emperor",and began a 14 year colonial rule.In order to strengthen the control of the puppet Manchukuo, and to satisfy Puyi’s pursuit of the imperial power, the Japanese Guandong army organized and designed Puyi’s "patrol" activities, which accompanied the whole puppet Manchukuo period. This paper mainly focuses on Puyi’s "tour of honor" in the period of puppet Manchu, which is divided into five parts:the first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the research background of the topic, and expounds the significance of the topic and the current situation of related academic research on the basis of combing and summarizing the previous research results;at the same time,it presupposes the research methods and innovations of this paper.;The second chapter analyzes the background of the system.First, the understanding of the arrangement of the "patrol" activities by the Guandong army.In order to better achieve the colonial rule of the northeast, the Guandong army used Puyi to carry out the "patrol" in the puppet Manchu border extensively, which can not only weaken the Anti Japanese forces, paralyze the Anti Japanese enthusiasm of the northeast people, but also meet the psychological needs of the Manchu nobles represented by Puyi for the imperial power and confuse the international audio-visual;second,Puyi I and the Manchu nobles’understanding of "patrol".Puyi cooperated with Japan to restore the Manchu Dynasty. On the one hand,he enjoyed the prestige of the former Emperor brought by the "tour".On the other hand,Puyi was heavily restricted by the Japanese Guandong army.He was ordered by the Guandong army and could not resist. There were irreconcilable contradictions between the two sides. The third chapter introduces the organization and implementation of "patrol".Every time Puyi travels,he needs to make a detailed plan.Every time he travels,he is issued by the Imperial Palace under the internal command of the Japanese Kanto army, and the specific implementation process reflects the will of the Kanto army. The fourth chapter is about the nature and type of the"patrol".Through the analysis of the traditional Chinese emperors’ patrol and the research of Puyi’s "patrol" in the territory of Puppet Manchuria,it is concluded that there are great differences between them.It is not in line with the image of the emperor that Puyi pursues, but the use of "patrol" by the Guandong army to stabilize the colonial rule.In the fourth chapter, compared with the purpose of organizing and implementing the"inspection tour" in Japan, the author analyzes the influence of Puyi’s "inspection tour"in the period of puppet Manchu. To fight against Puyi’s fantasy of restoration,to use Puyi’s "tour of honor" to strengthen the control of the puppet Manchukuo regime,to cooperate with Japan’s foreign aggression and expansion, and to increase the economic plunder in Northeast China. The conclusion part summarizes that Puyi and his puppet Manchu regime are under the high-pressure control of the Japanese Kanto army at all times, the organization and arrangement of the "patrol"activity is only a puppet play, and the characteristics and influence of the "patrol" activity further confirm the colonial and puppet nature of the puppet Manchu regime.
