| Due to the economic development since China’s reform and opening up,different forms of organizations have emerged,and great changes have taken place in the internal structure of many organizations,especially in private enterprises,with the change of ownership and the change of leadership style.the influence of personal factors of leaders on the company is also gradually increasing.In view of the universality and harmfulness of negative leadership behavior in the workplace,the "dark side" of leadership has gradually become a research hotspot in academic circles,and narcissistic leadership is one of them.In view of the fact that there is no narcissistic leadership questionnaire developed through the strict questionnaire compilation process at home and abroad,it is necessary to explore its dimension,which can lay the foundation for more in-depth research.In the process of leadership,leaders and followers should receive the same degree of attention,so the relationship between narcissistic leadership and subordinate followers is discussed.on this basis,combined with leadership identity and subordinate power distance,this paper discusses the influence mechanism of narcissistic leadership on subordinate follower.First of all,the items are collected by means of relevant literature analysis,interviews with enterprise employees and open questionnaire,and the narcissistic leadership questionnaire is developed.The item analysis and exploratory factor analysis of the initial questionnaire and formal questionnaire are carried out by using SPSS20.0 software.Finally,it is established that narcissistic leadership is composed of two dimensions:aggressive tendency and self-serving tendency,and the two factors can explain 66.863%variance.Finally,confirmatory factor analysis of the questionnaire was carried out with statistical software,and it was found that many fitting indexes of the two-dimensional model all reached the standard set by statistics.The reliability test shows that the Cronbach alpha coefficient of narcissistic leaders is 0.810 and the split-half reliability is 0.686,indicating that the stability and reliability of the questionnaire meet the requirements of metrology;in addition,the content validity and construct validity of the questionnaire also meet the requirements of measurement,which shows that the questionnaire is effective.Secondly,through the questionnaire,taking enterprise employees as the research object,narcissistic leadership as independent variable,subordinate follower as dependent variable,leadership identity as the intermediary variable,subordinate power distance is the moderating variable between narcissistic leadership and leadership identity.Finally,it is found that leadership identity mediates the relationship between narcissistic leadership and subordinate follower,subordinate power distance regulates the relationship between narcissistic leadership and leadership identity,subordinate power distance also regulates the intermediary role of leadership identity.This study theoretically discusses the content structure of narcissistic leadership,which will help to improve and develop the existing leadership theory.At the same time,this paper puts forward a model of the influence of narcissistic leadership on subordinate follower,which takes leadership identity as intermediary variable and subordinate power distance as regulatory variable,which enriches the relevant research on narcissistic leadership in China.In practice,it provides reference for enterprises to select appropriate managers and has important guiding and practical significance to help enterprises improve the following ability of their subordinates. |
