Research On The Creation Method Of Historical Story Illustration

Illustration,as a common art form in modern visual design,is an important part of today’s art life,and its meaning has gone far beyond its traditional concept.As a linguistic symbol of art,its influence has penetrated into many fields of today’s life.In the new era,historical story illustration not only has its own function of telling historical stories,but also is a medium for creators to reflect their values and express their emotions.Historical story illustration is more like a mirror of the society,using its own unique artistic expression to set up a bridge of communication between creators and readers.This paper discusses the creation method of historical story illustration by taking the history of the Western xia Dynasty as an example.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part,from the concept of illustration,the classification of illustration and the development of the status of these three aspects of the concept of illustration definition.The second part analyzes the creation of historical story illustration from the meaning of historical story illustration,the key points of historical story illustration and the style of historical story illustration.The third part,from the character image and role shaping,creation method analysis and composition setting and other aspects of the Western xia historical Chinese illustration creation methods are analyzed and studied.The fourth part,combining the relevant theories and creation methods of the first three parts,uses modern digital technology painting methods to create the illustration of the historical dialect of the Western Xia Dynasty,and passes the historical dialect of the Western Xia Dynasty to the readers through illustration art form..
