The Research Of The History Of Shi Tingzhu Family In The Early Qing Dynasty

Renowned as one of the“Eight Power Family in Hanjun banners ",Shi Tingzhu family made a great contribution to the foundation and consolidation of the Qing Dynasty,which had a profound influence on the development of the Qing Dynasty.They take a distinctive political position among the Eight Banners family in the early Qing.This thesis conducts a study of the origin,rise and development of the Shi Tingzhu family in the early Qing Dynasty.Through the investigation of the origin of Shi tingzhu family,the cultural background and family succession will be discussed.The rise and development of the family revolve around two themes,namely the struggle of the family members and their relationship with the imperial power,based on a long period of investigation and research on these two factors.Through examining the deeds of the representative figures from the Shi Tingzhu families in different periods of the early Qing Dynasty,this paper will discuss the development and the changing political influence of the Shi Tingzhu family,the impacts of the Eight Banner family on national policies and local governance in the early Qing Dynasty and the different results produced by different individual abilities of the members of Eight Banners Family on social governance and its reverse effects on the nation and the family.From these three dimensions,the rise and development of the Shi Tingzhu family are presented.By observing the dynamic relationship between the Shi tingzhu family and the imperial power from the perspective of marriage between Shi Tingzhu family and Qing imperial family,this paper tries to restore the political background of that time through factors such as marriage partner,marriage time,flag owner and banner people ’ s native place,and showing the influences and meanings of marriage for the imperial power and Shi Tingzhu family,respectively.Firstly,the author illustrates the contingency and inevitability of the prosperity of the Shi Tingzhu family;secondly,he investigates the influence of the imperial power on the inheritance and development of the Eight Banners Family in the early Qing Dynasty;and lastly,he explores the role that the Eight Banners Family play in the consolidation of the imperial power.On the one hand,through the study of the rise and development track of the Shi Tingzhu family,this thesis will offer a deep understanding of the establishment process of the multi-ethnic Qing Dynasty.On the other hand,the paper will draw historical experiences and lessons from the rise and fall of the family and the development of the country for the further development and progress of the society.
