In the "Professional Standards for Primary and Secondary School Teachers" promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2020,it is clearly stated that "Teachers should be optimistic,enthusiastic and cheerful,good at self-regulating emotions,maintain a peaceful mind,and love primary education." With the continuous development and competition of the society,the work pressure of teachers is increasing,and job burnout has become a prominent problem in the field of education.Teacher burnout has posed a huge threat to teachers’ physical and mental health,teaching quality and the stability of the teaching team,and has a direct negative impact on the development of teachers and students.At present,there are not many related research results on English teachers’ job burnout in my country,especially the research on Korean primary school English teachers’ job burnout needs to be carried out urgently.To this end,this research is based on Maslow’s need levels,teachers’ career cycle,Bandura’s self-efficacy,and Hobford’s resource preservation theories,with 47 English teachers in seven Korean primary schools in Yanji City as the research objects.Comprehensive use of literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods,comprehensively reveal the current situation of the job burnout of Korean primary school English teachers in Yanji City,deeply analyze the causes of the problem of job burnout of Korean primary school English teachers in Yanji City,try to put forward Targeted suggestions to alleviate the job burnout of English teachers in Korean primary schools in Yanji City.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall job burnout of English teachers in Korean primary schools is at an average level.(2)Korean primary school English teachers have a low sense of professional achievement,their emotions and emotions are in a relatively tired state,and their work enthusiasm is very low.(3)The job burnout of English teachers in Korean elementary schools with too much or too little teaching workload is more serious.(4)The overburden of teachers’ English teaching work,the lack of support from leaders and colleagues in the group,and the low status of English teachers in the organization are important factors that affect the job burnout of English teachers in Korean primary schools.In order to alleviate the job burnout of English teachers in Korean primary schools, this article proposes the following suggestions:(1)At the teacher level: teachers should establish the concept of lifelong learning,constantly improve their English teaching ability,so as to enhance the low sense of achievement of Korean primary school English teachers.Teachers should also improve their English teaching strategies and work efficiency,so as to alleviate the emotional exhaustion of Korean primary school English teachers.In addition,teachers should maintain physical and mental health,reasonably release work pressure,in order to prevent Korean primary school English teachers from dehumanizing.(2)Organizational level: on the one hand,the state should establish and improve the social support system,improve the social status of Korean primary school English teachers,in order to improve the low sense of achievement of Korean primary school English teachers.On the other hand,the state should promote the professional development of Korean primary school English teachers,improve the Korean primary school English curriculum reform system,in order to alleviate the emotional exhaustion of Korean primary school English teachers.In addition,the state should create a good working atmosphere and enhance the sense of collective honor to prevent the dehumanization of Korean primary school English teachers.(3)Group level: first of all,school leaders should support and encourage Korean primary school English teachers to improve their low sense of achievement.Secondly,school leaders should give more humanistic care to Korean primary school English teachers and help them adjust their career orientation so as to alleviate the emotional exhaustion of Korean primary school English teachers.Thirdly,the school should strengthen the environmental construction,improve the interpersonal skills of Korean primary school English teachers,in order to prevent the dehumanization of Korean primary school English teachers.
