The Research Of Modern Chinese Construction “Wo Shi Shuo”

In modern spoken Chinese,We observed that the“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”is a special forms with high usage frequency.With the continuous development of the research on Construction Grammar of modern Chinese,scholars has paid more and more attention to“Shuo(说)”.A series of fruitful research results have been achieved.“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”has also attracted the scholars.“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”has produced other meanings in specific context.This phenomenon and its underlying formation mechanism are worthy of in-depth study and exploration.On the basis of previous studies,this paper attempts to analyze the construction of“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”with the relevant theories of Construction Grammar.At the same time,with the theories of Cognitive Linguistics,this paper makes a cognitive explanation of“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.In this part,we mainly explain the purpose,significance,object and scope of the research,and clarify the research methods and corpus sources.We summarized the previous research results of construction grammar theory,introduced the research results of“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”and analyzed the shortcomings of related research.The second chapter describes the semantic relations of the connectives“Wo(我)”“Shi(是)”and“Shuo(说)”on the basis of Construction Grammar,and then tries to generalize the whole construction meaning of the“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”forms.The semantic features of“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”is influenced by the construction’s sense-giving capacity.This chapter explores the relationship between the construction and subsequent statements.The third chapter analyzes the pragmatic functions of the“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”forms.And this part also analyzes the textual aspects of the construction.It has a strong subjective tendency in pragmatic function,and mainly plays the role of following and connecting.The fourth chapter mainly from the aspects of structure analysis and format evolution of“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”research review,focuses on explains the cognitive mechanism of the“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”forms.The fifth chapter analyzes the usage of“Wo Shi Shuo(我是说)”“Wo De Yi Si Shi(我的意思是)”and“Ni Shi Shuo(我是说)”in the actual corpus.Then describes the part of speech and function of“Shuo(说)”and“Shi(是)”.It is mainly from three aspects:discourse frame,pragmatic environment and pragmatic function.The last part is conclusion.Summarizes the main ideas and shortcomings of this paper.
