Analysis On The Performance Techniques And Music Style Of Rhapsody Of Erhu No.5 —— Praise Song

The Fifth Rhapsody of Erhu-Praise Song was created in 2019,which was commissioned for the 12 th Chinese Music Golden Bell Award Erhu Competition,and was made to celebrate the 70 th birthday of the motherland.The music takes Praise Song as the subtitle,adopts Mongolian music style,and enthusiastically eulogizes the magnificent scenery of the great rivers and mountains of the motherland,expressing the author’s infinite praise for the motherland,with deep feeling of pen and ink,touching rhyme and beautiful and expressive long tune.Composer Wang Jianmin combines Chinese traditional music elements with western creative techniques,and his Rhapsody series works have a distinct sense of the times,strong national style and strong audibility,which constantly promote the development of Erhu performing arts.This paper will analyze the Fifth Rhapsody of Erhu-Praise Song in three chapters: The first chapter mainly introduces Wang Jianmin’s works and creative background,and makes a brief analysis of the creative concept of the Fifth Rhapsody of Erhu-Praise Song;The second chapter starts with the author’s study of the Fifth Rhapsody of Erhu-Praise Song,and summarizes the unconventional playing techniques,technical and artistic treatment in the works with his own experience in the process of playing the piano;The third chapter analyzes the music style of the Fifth Rhapsody of Erhu-Praise Song,including a brief combing of Mongolian long-tune music style,Mongolian music style contained in melody language and creation style of the work.Through the analysis of the performance techniques and musical styles of the Fifth Rhapsody of Erhu-Praise Song,the author provides reference for contemporary young Erhu players to learn this work and better inherit and develop Erhu,a national musical instrument.
