Erhu is a traditional folk musical instrument of our country.It has undergone the test of nearly one hundred years and bears the history of the development of Chinese national music.The development of erhu as a solo instrument cannot be separated from the contribution of every composer.The composers represented by Liu Tianhua,Liu Wenjin,Wang Jianmin,and Tan Dun all brought us many milestone works with the belief of continuous breakthrough.The composer Wang Jianmin,who is known as the leading figure in contemporary erhu works,is a national music composer with outstanding achievements since the 1980s.He always adheres to the creative concept of“combination of taste and popularity,and Chinese and Western co-existence”,which enables a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation.He created a large number of works of national instrumental music with the meaning of the times,and was hailed as the leading figure in the creation of contemporary erhu works,which promoted the innovative development of the works of erhu music in China.Among them,the song“Second Erhu Rhapsody" is one of his masterpieces which expresses the style of Hunan music.The melody of the tune uses the Hunan folk songs to harmonize the tone elements of the Huagu opera.It has a distinctive regional character,at the same time,it uses the "Rhapsody" with the daring technique.The text of this paper is divided into three chapters,on the "second Erhu Rhapsody" creative technology,work style characteristics,skill works,as well as innovative and erhu and artistic value of the works of Wang Erhu study.
