A Study On The Evolution Of Rural Movies In The New Century

As a big agricultural country,rural film is related to the image presentation of rural areas and farmers in the film.Due to the particularity of its expression object,this type of theme obtains a specific cultural identity,thus becoming a film category with Chinese characteristics and occupying an important position in the history of Chinese film.In this paper,the evolution of rural theme films as a starting point,select the new century in the narrative strategy changes more significant aspects of rural theme films were investigated.Since the new century,rural theme films have shown a diversified and diversified development trend,but there are still hidden concerns in the development process of rural films.Based on this,this paper,based on the new century,makes a longitudinal analysis of rural theme films,investigates its rheological roots from the perspective of rheology and evaluates its gains and losses,in order to add bricks to the creation of rural theme films.The introduction part has carried on the limits to the countryside theme movie concept,and elaborated the countryside theme movie research background and the significance,combed the academic circles this topic research present situation,finally obtains this topic in the research existence flaw,confirmed this paper research content and the value.The first chapter mainly discusses the evolution law of rural film themes.From the perspectives of social change,cultural transformation and nostalgia complex,this paper discusses the changing characteristics of rural society from diligence to rural revitalization in the film.The transformation characteristics of rural culture from political culture reflection to modernity impact and thinking;The evolution law of nostalgia complex from leaving home to returning home.The second chapter examines the evolution of the characters in rural films since the new century.Among them,the image of migrant workers presents the rheological characteristics from urban visionaries to return home builders;The image of the elderly and children shows the changing characteristics from sad left-behind to active actors;The image of village cadres shows the changing characteristics from paternalistic managers to knowledge service providers.The third chapter discusses the evolution law of narrative strategies of rural films since the new century from three aspects : narrative perspective,narrative space and narrative style,in which the narrative perspective is manifested as the disappearance of omniscient perspective and the prominence of limited perspective.Narrative space focuses on the variation of rural space and the expansion of urban space;The narrative style is based on the postmodern turn of comedy and the tendency of magic realism.The fourth chapter summarizes the reasons and gains and losses of rural theme films since the new century.From the external cause of the national policy and the internal director of the film iteration and type of hybrid point of view to analyze the internal cause of its evolution,and then from the perspective of commercial and artistic analysis of its successful experience and limitations.The conclusion part summarizes the research content of rural theme films since the new century,finds out the shortcomings in the simple combing of the development context of rural theme films,and prospects its future development,in order to provide reference for the creation of rural theme films in China.
