A Study On The Poems Of Sanzhang

Sanzhang of the Dang Dynasty are three generations of poets named Zhang Bayuan,Zhang Xiaobiao,and Zhang Jie who were born in Tonglu,Muzhou.Zhang Bayuan,he passed the imperial examination in the sixth year of the Dali,served as Jurong registrar to Xielulang in Zhenyuan.Zhang Xiaobiao,the son of Zhang Bayuan,whose real name is Zhang Chengmian.He was born in Yuqian,Hangzhou.Fourteenth years of Yuanhe he passed the imperial examnation,served as the proofreader in emperor’s secretariat.He was subordinates engaged in Shannan area,and as official in charge of criminal law in Taihe.Zhang Xiaobiao’s son,Zhang Jie,his tip name was Duansou or Lufeng.He was born in Yuqi,Hangzhou.And later moved to Lanxi,Wuzhou.Fifth year of Qianfu he passed the imperial examnation,and later disappeared.Sanzhang has more than a hundred poems and quite famous.It is a typical representative of the Jiangnan literay family and occupies a certain position in the poetry circle of the middle and late Tang Dynasty.The existing literature and historical materials about the Sanzhang are severely lost and difficult to distinguish.Based on previous studies,the author has collected extensively,trying to truly restore the life stories of the Sanzhang and deeply analyze his poetry creation so as to better reflect the overall style and development of poetry creation in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.This article is divided into there parts: introduction,appendix and main text.The introduction part mainly includes the basis of topic selection,research status and research significance,and summarizes it.The main text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter examines the Sanzhang name,birthplace,birth and death year,official contact and family.From these four aspects,it demonstrates the relationship between three generations and analyzes the life of the Sanzhang.The second chapter briefly describes the spread of the Sanzhang poems,sorts out the spread and record of the three poets’ poems.The third chapter mainly analyzes the creation of Sanzhang poems,taking the poems of the three as a whole,summarizing the commonalities from the three angles of subject matter content,style characteristics,and expression methods,analyzing and researching.In terms of the subject matter,the Sanzhang poems mainly include six categories: landscape travel poems,poems about empathy,poems for remuneration,poems for gifts,farewell poems,poems of nostalgia for the past and pastoral poems,which are further subdivided underneath.Analyze the thoughts and feelings expressed by each type of poetry.In terms of style characteristics,the Sanzhang poetry presents a variety of gestures such as magnificent beauty,clear and hearty,majestic and arrogant,depressed and sad,simple and easy,delicate and deep.In terms of expression techniques,the Sanzhang poetry allusions are realistic,accurate and vivid,the words are abundant and exquisite.In addition,the author attached the notes to the Sanzhang poems in the appendix,and made the notes on the basis of the Complete Tang Poems,referring to the Tang Zhiyan by Wang Dingbao of the Wu Dai,Notes on the Tang Poetry by Ji Yougong of Song Dynasty,Wen Yuan Ying Hua by Li Fang of Song Dynasty,Ying Kui Lv Sui by Fang Hui of Yuan Dynasty,Anthology of Poetry in Shi Cang by Cao Xuequan of Ming Dynasty,For ancient Li Mansion by Wang Qingzhi of Ming Dynasty,poems selected by Yu Ding Peiwen Zhai.In view of Zhang Xiaobiao’s lost poems,the author mainly refers to the Quantangshi Yi compiled by the Japanese He Shining,Beautiful Lines Throughout the Ages by Japanese Da Jiangkuangfang,and the Shi Chao Poetry by Shi Zishan of Korean.The author explains the words and allusions in the Sanzhang poetry,trying to restore the style of the Sanzhang poetry.
