Discourse markers are abundant in natural languages.Structurally,they do not act as any syntactic component,but are a special means of language application.Chinese language has a variety of usage and classification of discourse markers,and there are a few of discourse markers that other languages do not have,which make teaching more difficult.Since the 20 th century,the relevant research on discourse marker has attracted much attention,and the achievements have emerged continuously.This paper based on the previous research to the teaching of discourse markers,which is based on large corpora and Chinese fact,examines the generality and individuality of a few discourse markers,such as“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”and“这下好了(zhexia haole,well now)”,analyzes the conditions and paths and processes needed for the formation of discourse markers,reviews the teaching situation of discourse markers in TCSL in the past,and puts forward relevant teaching suggestions.At first,this paper briefly states the recent research status of discourse marker at home and abroad,illustrate the purpose of the topic selection,research methodology,target,corpus and so on;This paper discusses the chunking of series of discourse markers such as“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”and“这下好了(zhexia haole,well now)”,analyses the use of the discourse marker“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”and focuses on the comparison of the differences and connections between“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”and“这下好了(zhexia haole,well now)”.“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”is relatively more independent than“这下好了(zhexia haole,well now)”,which has a close relation with original semantic function of the“现在(xianzai,now)”and“这下(zhexia,this time)”The formation of discourse markers is closely related to the semantic function,syntactic position,textual context,application of rhetorical devices,and frequency of use of such factors as its constituent elements;This paper also discusses the pragmatic motivation for the formation of“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”.The consideration of linguistic economy is a possible formation path for“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”to be condensed into the discourse marker“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”.The subjectivity of the expression of discontent emotion is an important reason for the formation of discourse marker“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”.The existence of a specific expectation is a necessary precondition for the appearance of the discourse marker“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”in a continuous discourse,and such a specific expectation is a speakeroriented extrapolative explicit expectation.At last,on the basis of the present situation of general discourse marker teaching,the nature and formation path of discourse marker“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”,the corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward for the teaching of general discourse marker and specific discourse marker“现在好了(xianzai haole,well now)”.
