The development of computer and Internet is pushing human beings into the age of intelligence. The translation industry has also been greatly impacted by the development of the Internet. In order to meet the higher requirements of the translation market, more and more translation companies and translators begin to use machine translation and computeraided translation software to supplement human translation. However, there are some problems in machine translation, such as the translation is too rigid and the translation does not conform the target language readers. Therefore,we should pay more attention to the application of pre-editing and post-editing in machine translation.Taking XNX Universal Transmitter Technical Manual as an example, this paper explores how to adopt pre-editing strategies to improve the original text,so as to improve the accuracy and fluency of machine translation and reduce the workload of post-editing.This paper analyzes the machine translation of the unedited original text, and summarizes three preediting strategies: adding omitted information, rewriting words and sorting out logic; This paper analyzes the incorrect sentences in machine translation, and summarizes the postediting strategies for words and sentences respectively. At the lexical level, the posttranslation editing strategies include: rewriting the mistranslated words and adding the omitted words; At the syntactic level, the post-editing strategies are: adjusting the word order, explaining the complete meaning and clarifying the logic.Through the study and discussion of the mode of pre-editing + machine translation +post-editing,this paper hopes to lay a foundation for future translation work and provide some references for how to combine machine translation with human intervention in the future.
