"Ancient and Modern Rhyme Meeting Essentials"(hereinafter referred to as "Yunhui")is a rhyme book written at the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. It was drafted by Huang Gongshao and added and edited by his fellow county resident Xiong Zhong. The book is rich in textual research and is widely recognized as a book of phonological, calligraphy, and exegesis. At the same time, because of its abundant citations,it is considered by the academic circles to be a source of collation. The interpretation of characters in the book "Yunhui" often first quotes the interpretation of "Shuowen",and then examines the meanings of the characters contained in "Guangyun","Yu Pian",and "Er Ya".At finally, the book includes the meanings recorded in the annotations of books such as confucian classics, history, philosophy and literature, and mark the source."Yunhui" quoted "Guangyun" extensively, and it is close to the era of "Guangyun".Therefore,we compare the "Guangyun" data quoted in "Yunhui" with Zecuntang’s "Song Ben Guangyun",which has important value for studying the current version of "Song Ben Guangyun".Generally speaking, the rhyme book includes three aspects: form, pronunciation, and meaning.Due to time and space limitations and the author’s limited knowledge, this thesis only studies the interpretation of the book "Rhyme" by quoting "Guangyun".This thesis mainly uses Zhang’s Zecuntang’s "Song Ben Guang Yun" as the base version, and makes an exhaustive comparative study of the interpretation of "Guang Yun" quoted in "Yun Hui" and the current version of "Guang Yun".First, the interpretation materials of the two books are collected, then carefully sorted, and finally classified.According to statistics, this paper collects a total of 1763 interpretations of "Guangyun" quoted in the book "Yunhui".Compared with the current version of "Song Ben Guangyun",589 of them are exactly the same, accounting for about 33%.There are a total of 1152,among which 1099 are partially different, accounting for about 62%;there are 53 completely different, accounting for about 3%.It can be seen from the study of the same materials that "Yunhui" is faithful to the original text when it quotes the interpretation of "Guangyun".Through the research of different materials,it can be concluded that "Yunhui" does not completely copy the whole book when citing the interpretation of "Guangyun",but selectively quotes the original text of "Guangyun".When quoting or quoting the original text of "Guangyun","Yunhui" may adjust the original language to varying degrees,or there may be errors in quoting, deviating,or corrupting the interpretation."Guang Yun" was written in the Song Dynasty, and there are many editions in later generations. There are many differences in interpretation or use of characters in the handed down version. The 53 articles quoted in "Yun Hui" are completely different from the current version of "Guang Yun" and the 23 articles the mutual evidence part of the two books have important research value. It can not only correct the errors and breaks of the current version of "Guangyun",but also correct some of the errors of "Yunhui" itself. At the same time,it can also correct the problems in Mr.Zhou Zumo’s "Guangyun Proofreading Notes",and also correct some of the flaws in Mr.Yu Naiyong’s "Xinxiu Mutual Notes Song Ben Guangyun".This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction. This part mainly introduces the contents and research status of the two books "Ancient and Modern Rhyme Meeting Essentials" and "Guangyun".The second part: the interpretation of "Guang Yun" quoted by "Yunhui" is exactly the same. The so-called exactly the same, that is,the materials of "Guangyun" quoted by "Yunhui" are exactly the same as the corresponding entries in the current version of "Guangyun".It is actually entered and there is no difference. We found that "Yunhui" is still very faithful to the original text of "Guangyun".This is a good research tradition, which is very helpful for the research of "Yunhui" and "Guangyun".The third part: the interpretation of "Guang Yun" quoted by "Yunhui" is different. This chapter includes two parts. We divide the differences into those with different interpretations and those with completely different interpretations from "Yunhui" and "Guangyun".The so-called "partially inconsistent" means that there are some textual differences between the "Guangyun" quoted by "Yunhui" and the current version of "Guangyun".This kind of situation is more complicated and is one of the focuses of this thesis. We mainly compare the information of the two books in detail from the perspective of interpretation, which can be divided into eight situations: the difference between the two books by one character;the incomplete quotation of "Yunhui";the inverted order of the interpretation of the characters;the omitting the interpretation of the word;the statement Different, the same or similar in meaning;the relationship between the original character and the borrowed character;misquote other books;investigate the derivation, escape, and error in the second book. The so-called completely different, that is,the content of "Guangyun" quoted by "Yunhui" is completely different from the content of the current version of "Guangyun".This part is completely different, which is the second focus of this thesis.Mainly analyze from the following three angles: the source of the wrong quotation;misquoting other words;quoting the interpretation of its variant characters. The fourth part: the interpretation of "Guang Yun" quoted by "Yunhui" is mutual proof. In the process of comparison, the author analyzes with other circumstantial evidence: either correcting the failure of "Guangyun";or verifying the mistake of "Yunhui";or correcting the failure of Zhou Zumo and Yu Naiyong. The five part is conclusion. The essence of "Yunhui" citing the interpretation research of "Guangyun" is to further understand the credibility of "Yunhui" in quoting other ancient materials and the way of citing the materials. The second is to understand the changes in the meanings of "Guang Yun" in the process of spreading, and the collation of its books by later generations. At the same time,it can also explored the value of "Yunhui" in philology.
