Multi-perspective Analysis Of Discourse Marker "Guan Ta Ne"

Since the 1980s,discourse marker has been favored by researchers and gradually formed a research upsurge.Many scholars have studied the"Guan"sentence(“管”字句),but the sentence pattern"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)is always ignored,and few scholars analyze it as a discourse marker.This paper takes the discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)as the research object,and uses relevant theories,discourse cohesion theory,conversation theory,relevance theory and cooptation theory to make a multi-angle analysis of it.After sorting out the related studies of"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)by predecessors,we find that the analysis of the discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)only stops at the description of form and function,and the study of its formation process only stops at the diachronic evolution of"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)without systematic research.Therefore,this paper analyzes the formation process of the discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)based on the supplement and improvement of the form,function and influencing factors of the discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)and considers that the discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)is a rhetorical strategy coopted from the synchronic level by the speaker,and its generation path is:Guan Ta(管他)-the"Guan"sentence(“管”字句)-discourse markers"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢),this generation process we called cooptation.In terms of form and function,we analyzed the discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)image of the two kinds of language variation,the difference between the free replacement variants and replace variation under certain conditions.From the Angle of the turn,surveying the distribution situation,found that the main,in the middle,and turn distribution in different contexts.The discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)has its own semantic characteristics,and the basic attribute of"negation"affects its emotional expression function,textual cohesion function and interpersonal interaction function.In addition,the factors that affect its pragmatic function include distribution,co-occurrence component and tone.The form and distribution,pragmatic function and influencing factors of the discourse marker Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)are comprehensively investigated.In terms of the formation process,we reject the traditional grammaticalization and pragmatics to explain the evolution process of discourse marker.Instead,by discussing the evolution process of the"Guan"sentence(“管”字句),we conclude that the formation of discourse marker"Guan Ta ne"(管他呢)is transient and comes from the Cooptation of expressing psychological negation.This process is often accompanied by ellipsis and other phenomena,but it is not limited to the ellipsis of the sentence pattern of"subject+Guan+personal pronoun+subsequent component".
