Exercise is a part of the teaching material,an important reference material for teachers to teach,is the necessary link for students to consolidate knowledge.Thus,it is essential to focus on exercise.So far,the academic circle pays little attention to the exercises of the spoken Chinese textbooks at the advanced stage.Therefore,the author wants to study the exercises of two sets of textbooks,Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)and Advanced Spoken Chinese.It is hoped to provide some basic data for the compilation of the exercises of the spoken Chinese textbooks at the advanced stage as a foreign language,and to offer some immature suggestions for the revision and use of the textbooks.The first chapter of this paper introduces the research object and research basis,determines the research method and research significance,sorts out the current research status of the Chinese spoken language teaching materials and exercises for Chinese spoken language teaching materials as a foreign language,and clarifies the research direction of this paper.The second chapter makes a statistical analysis of the exercises in the two sets of textbooks Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)and Advanced Spoken Chinese from two aspects of question quantity and question type.It is found that there are enough exercises in the two sets of textbooks,which can meet the needs of advanced Chinese learners’ oral practice.In terms of question type,the two sets of textbooks pay more attention to the comprehension exercise and the communication exercise.The third chapter makes a statistical analysis of the exercises of the two sets of textbooks Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)and Advanced Spoken Chinese from the aspect of content.It is found that the two sets of textbooks have their own characteristics in pronunciation,vocabulary,function and topic: Advanced Spoken Chinese pays more attention to phonetic exercises,while Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)focuses more on vocabulary exercises and functional exercises.Besides,Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)deals with more formal topics,while Advanced Spoken Chinese deals with more colloquial topics.The fourth chapter makes a statistical analysis of the cultural information introduction in the two sets of textbooks,Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)and Advanced Spoken Chinese.It is found that both sets of textbooks pay more attention to the introduction of modern cultural information,while the introduction of traditional cultural information is relatively less.According to the statistical analysis results of the two sets of textbooks,Developing Chinese(Advanced Speaking Course)and Advanced Spoken Chinese,the fifth chapter puts forward suggestions for revision based on relevant theoretical basis and interview results,including appropriately increasing the number of sentence patterns,appropriately increasing the number of novel questions,paying attention to the level of exercises content transition,and paying attention to experience in the introduction of cultural information.Additionally,suggestions for use are also put forward,such as selecting or using practice extensively,speaking and practicing carefully,extending vocabulary practice with the characteristics of the times,and carrying out cultural experience and practice appropriately. |
