Preliminary Study On Water Conservancy Cultural Heritage In Jinci

Jinci is located in the Xuanweng Mountain of Jinyuan District,Taiyuan City,Shanxi Province.As a famous historical cultural relic in China,it has been built from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Ming and Qing dynasties,which contains rich historical connotations.It was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 1961.Jinci takes Jin River as the line and revolves around the construction of Jinci river conservancy,it can be said that the history of Jinci and the water conservancy system of Jinci complement each other.Jinci water conservancy,as an important part of Jinci,has considerable research significance as a cultural heritage of water conservancy.The development of water conservancy cultural heritage of Jinci has experienced a long historical period and has been used until1990 s.In 1994,the Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage lost water,Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage lost water source,relying on artificial water cycle to transform to tourism landscape.As an ancient water conservancy system engineering,Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage,as a typical water conservancy cultural heritage,condenses the wisdom of the ancients and is worth exploring and studying.The location of Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage is influenced by geographical and historical factors,and is based on the local water environment,that is,Jin River.The scope includes the water environment system,which is centered on the North River(Zhibo Canal),the South River,the Zhong River and the Lubao River after the Jinshui outflow.As a cultural heritage of water conservancy,Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage belongs to irrigation engineering,flood control engineering,urban water conservancy and garden engineering at the same time,and in the process of construction and perfection,it has a great influence on local production and life.The development process of water conservancy cultural heritage of Jinci is closely related to human activities,has the characteristics of the times,reflects different social and cultural conditions in different periods,and its development history is an important part of the history of Jinyuan region.Taking the evolution process of Jinci water conservancy as the core,this paper clarifies the relationship between Jinci water conservancy and people’s production and life change in Jinyuan area in different historical periods.By analyzing the change and value of Jinci water conservancy,this paper explores the significance of Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage and the reasons for its decline,so as to facilitate the re-protection and utilization of Jinci water conservancy cultural heritage.
