The Research Report On Current Situation Of Scenic Spots Translation In Xi’an

The research report investigates and analyzes the current situation of translation for the commentary of tourist scenic spots in Xi’an through fieldwork,aiming to provide some references for the translation of those other tourist scenic spots with distinctive historical and cultural characteristics.This report analyzes the mistranslation problems in the commentary of tourist scenic spots in Xi’an,including spelling errors,grammatical mistranslation,pragmatic mistranslation,name mistranslation and different expressions problems for the same tourist scenic spots,and suggests some improvements to them.Meanwhile,the report also studies the culture-loaded words of the commentary of tourist scenic spots in Xi’an and their translation methods and strategies.These efforts are to promote the cultural exchanges between China and western countries,and improve the quality of translation for the commentary of tourist scenic spots and to make some contributions to advancing the cultural export of the tourist scenic spots in Xi’an.
