Chinese painting,supported by traditional culture and philosophical thought,has distinctive artistic characteristics and a strong national artistic style,using brush and ink to express love for the great beauty of nature,expressing emotion through scenery and expressing the will of things,which is the most simple classical Chinese ’cosmic view’,full of ’metaphysical It is the most simple classical Chinese "cosmic view",full of "metaphysical" meaning.As a sub-discipline of Chinese painting,painting flowers and birds in a realistic manner is based on sketching and painting with intent,connecting man and nature through brush and ink,creating a harmonious rhythm with vivid emotion and ink.The subject comes from the exploration and practice of the theory and techniques of painting flowers and birds in a realistic manner during the postgraduate period,and from thinking about and exploring how to reflect the rhythm of brush and ink in creation.Through reading the relevant theoretical literature,copying the works of the great masters and analysing the rhythm of the brush and ink,I have applied this to my own creation.Rhythm is a common aesthetic element in culture,and introducing it into the painting of birds and flowers can make the painting more vibrant.In the first part,the rhythm of brush and ink and its forms of expression are discussed.Firstly,the rhythm of brush and ink is explained,followed by an explanation of what rhythm is,how it is reflected in brush and ink,and what are the forms of expression of the rhythm of brush and ink;in the second part,the specific rhythm of brush and ink in the painting of birds and flowers is discussed in detail,followed by a reflection on the rhythm of life in the painting of birds and flowers.In the third part,the understanding and application of the rhythm of brush and ink in the creation of "All Signs by the Side" is explained.
