Character Image Building And Music Analysis Of The Heroine "Haitang" In The Opera “Yimeng Mountain”

The opera “Yimeng Mountain”is based on Mountain Daqing Breakout and the Yuziya Battle,and tells the story of the unity of the Eighth Route Army and the villagers of Yimeng Mountain in the war against Japan in the 20 th century.Since its premiere in 2018,the opera has won the 15 th Spiritual Civilization Construction Five-One Project Award and the 30 th Magnolia Award for performing arts.This paper first introduces the background of the opera,then analyzes the creation background,the plot,and the character of the female protagonist“Haitang”.The character is the thread connecting all the plots throughout and intensifies the dramatic tension.With the development of the plot,the character evolves continuously and finally transforms into a vivid character.At the same time,the aria of Haitang in the opera is analyzed to deepen the understanding of the relationship between characterization and music.
