Abstract/Summary:
Through a detailed analysis of the characterization of "Haitang" in the opera Yimeng Mountain and the singing characteristics of several of her classic aria,this paper shows the red spirit and artistic value contained in the opera.Yimeng Mountain,with the theme of the war of resistance against Japan as the script,not only affirms and carries forward the mainstream thought of the new era,but also better publicizes the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and meets the needs of carrying forward the revolutionary spirit.While providing theoretical reference for vocal music learners,the article also allows more people to pay attention to and understand national opera,and finally promote the better inheritance and development of national vocal music.The opera "Yimeng Mountain" studied in this paper is a moving story about the people in Yimeng Mountain revolutionary base and the Eighth Route Army’s life and death dependence and resistance to the Japanese Army during the war of resistance against Japan.The character "Haitang" in the play is the heroine of the story,played by soprano Wang Lida.In the play,she created a female image who bravely helped the Eighth Route Army and tenaciously resisted the Japanese invasion.Many of her aria in the play are works with beautiful melody and rich emotion,with magnificent stage,exciting lyrics,melodious melody and performance with true feelings,He composed touching hymns of heroes in Mengshan and Yishui,and interpreted the Anti Japanese war stories of the flesh and blood relationship between the party and the people.It is a work that students of various loud music professional colleges practice singing,and it often appears on the stage of professional music competitions.How to portray the characters three-dimensional and fully express the connotation of opera on the stage is the focus of vocal music learners’ research and attention.Through the research,it is found that the creators have shaped the character image of Haitang through the lyrics and music elements with Shandong flavor.The lyrics of the opera express the character character of ‘Haitang’.Combined with the plot of the play,they gradually reflect the change of character of ‘Haitang’,from "lively rural women" to "revolutionaries who give up their small home for everyone".Through music materials such as melody and rhythm,the musical images of the heroine "Haitang" in different stages are shaped.For example,when shaping the lively and happy image,the eighth and sixteenth notes are mostly used in the high pitch area;When shaping grief,we often use long-span interval,multiple speed changes and strength alternation.Wang Lida,the actor of ‘Haitang’,has comprehensively shaped the role through her own understanding of the role and combined with many years of singing and performing experience,so that the audience can experience the inner world of the protagonist in the play through intuitive feelings.In order to shape characters completely,actors need to improve their performance ability and music processing ability.Therefore,for vocal performers and learners,the research on the characterization and singing characteristics of ‘Haitang’ has important theoretical value.
