| Since the 20th century,Chinese society has experienced a series of changes.As one of the important parts,the transportation reform has brought the profound influence to the society,the economy and the city development of the northeast area.In this paper,the northeast carriage industry as the research object,the research time is defined as the 1920s and 1930s.From the perspective of history,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the development,multi-party management and relevant guild of the horse-drawn carriage industry in northeast China,so as to find out the reasons for the development of horse-drawn carriage industry in modern times in northeast China,the paper explores various problems in its development stage and how the authorities deal with the management,thus reflecting the social and people’s life situation in northeast China during the Republic of China period.Specifically,this paper will be discussed through four parts:First,the main types and uses of the traditional wagon in northeast China are introduced,in addition to the traditional wagons such as iron-wheeled wagons,cars,and wheeled wagons,there is also the first urban rail transportation facility constructed in modern Shenyang.At that time,it was regarded as an advanced means of transportation,but in fact it was only an improvement in carriage transportation,which was still carried out by horse power,coupled with the introduction of western-style carriage since modern times,has brought new life to this traditional mode of transport.At that time,there were not only carriage companies specializing in carriage transport and leasing,but also some rich farmers engaged in transport production in slack season,which greatly promoted the development of carriage industry.On the one hand,it came from the limitation of objective conditions,such as climate and road conditions,which made the use of horse-drawn carriages possible.On the other hand,because the new mode of transportation in the quality of service,price and other aspects of the existence of certain defects,for the development of horse and carriage opportunities.Therefore,in modern times,although there are cars,trains and other new means of transport,but not abandon the traditional means of transport,but presents a hybrid complementary situation.Secondly,the government authorities have a series of regulations on vehicle management,including vehicle price regulation and vehicle donation.In addition,the driving of the carriage is inseparable from the COACHMAN,and the coachman most of the low level of education,moral level is uneven,so there were special provisions on the management of the coachman at that time,and with the deepening of municipal construction and continuous improvement.In addition,car parks are designated everywhere in order to facilitate traffic.This part mainly introduces the location and daily management of the parking lot in Liaoning Province.In addition to the designated car parks,the road regulations issued in various places,such as the order of pedestrians and vehicles have detailed provisions.Third,in the case of Fengtien Province,the transformation of various organizations involved in the carriage trade,from the original carriage house to the guild of the carriage trade,and the formation of professional trade unions in the carriage trade,including their functions,are discussed,internal Management,operation and some problems in the operation process.Finally,with the continuous influx of new traffic,the conflict between the old and the new traffic is gradually heating up,from the competition of the market to the occurrence of various accidents,the use of horse-drawn carriage has brought a lot of problems to the society.Although it has played a certain role in facilitating people’s lives,but we can not deny that it has its own shortcomings and some negative impact on the society at that time.With the passage of time,the carriage gradually disappeared from view.On the one hand,it is due to the gap that it can’t make up with the new tools such as train and automobile. |
