There has always been the concept of "image" in Chinese traditional aesthetics.Traditional arts such as poetry,calligraphy,prose and drama all attach great importance to the creation of image,emphasizing the creation of infinite meaning and feelings in limited space.Traditional Chinese opera has always had the freehand creation concept of "one or two steps across the world,three or five people,thousands of troops",especially the application of "one table and two chairs" in the stage space.Through the performance of actors,the assumption of opera art is transformed into authenticity,which provides unlimited free time and space for the performance of actors.The contemporary drama director’s creation of stage space image can not only broaden the means of artistic creation of the director and give full play to the creative imagination of the director,but also help the drama stage to show the spirit and value system of Chinese excellent traditional culture,and become an important way to build a community of human destiny and show cultural confidence It’s an important way.In this paper,the combination of practice and theory,through the rehearsal of the contemporary famous playwright Liu Jiasheng teacher’s no show drama "modern Mulan" Scene 1 to 4,to explore the theater director stage space construction,and analyze the director of the excellent traditional Chinese culture drama elements into the creative techniques.Secondly,it discusses the inheritance of Chinese Nationalization with the development of the director’s subjectivity in the new era,as well as the poetic form that is conducive to the practical significance and value of drama works.On this basis,this paper will explore the use of digital technology,such as lighting technology and LED technology,in the era of rapid development of modern technology,the innovative extension of stage space image and the construction of characters’ psychological space.
