Study Of The Cave Novels During The Period Of Han Dynasty To Tang Dynasty

Han dynasty to Tang dynasty as an important period for the development of classical Chinese novels,cave novels appeared and produced a large number of works during this period,but it had not attracted enough attention in academic circles.A large number of cave novels in the Tang Dynasty have not been systematically investigated and studied.This paper focuses on the time imagination and space construction of "other realm" in Han dynasty to Tang dynasty cave novels,starting from the aspects of story types,artistic techniques and cultural implication,combining with the research achievements of history and religion,in-depth and detailed carding and interpretation of the unique literary implication and literary taste of Han to Tang cave novels.The introduction part of the paper defines the concept category and text period of the research object,summarizes the current research status of this topic,explains the research value,significance and research’s ideas and methods.The body consists of four chapters:The first part is the origin of the cave novel.First of all,it analyzes the ideological origin,such as cave worship,immortal family words,Buddhism and Taoism,as well as the seclusion thought caused by social reality.Secondly,it analyzes the origin of cave stories before the Han Dynasty,such as myths and legends,prose and related records in history books.These cave stories before the Han Dynasty provide rich literature for the creation of cave novels in later generations.The second part takes the fictional time in the novel text as the starting point to analyze the time imagination in the cave novels of the Han Dynasty to Tang Dynasty,reflecting the strong pursuit of people’s desire to break and transcend the shackles of life time in the real world.First,the paper explores the literary presentation of the time transcendence of the real world by exploring the fantasy time of cave novels,mainly from the three aspects of immortal image,fairy medicine and Xianfan time difference.Secondly,the paper analyzes the cultural connotation of time imagination of cave novels and explores the literary significance behind the text stories.The third part analyzes the space construction of cave novels,and through the fiction of "other world",it completes the breakthrough and transcendence of the shackles of life space in the real world.First of all,starting from the writing form of cave novel’s different space,this paper analyzes the presentation of novel art space,mainly from three aspects: the horizontal extension,the vertical expansion of cave’s different space and the deformation of different space on this basis.Secondly,it analyzes the literary function of cave novel space,which plays an important role in providing scenes for the story,promoting the development of the plot and clarifying and deepening the theme of the story.The fourth part analyzes and summarizes the story types of cave novels and explains the aesthetic significance of cave novels.Based on the analysis of all the cave novels,the cave novels in Han dynasty to Tang dynasty are divided into four types: immortal seeking Tao,born seclusion,romantic love and spirit.Through the carding and interpretation of each kind of cave novel stories,this paper deeply excavates the unique literary significance and aesthetic tendency contained in cave novels.
