Chronicle Of Huang Gan’s Deeds And Works

Chronology is an important genre to show people’s life stories by year.The only existing chronicle of Huang Gan is the Mianzhaixianshenghuangwensugongnianpu,compiled by his disciples Zheng yuansulu and Chen Yihe.It records Huang Gan’s life experience in detail,but there are many shortcomings:firstly,it lacks a complete family lineage;Secondly,the records of Huang Gan’s works are incomplete,and some of his works have not been recorded;Thirdly,the letters from Huang Gan’s teachers,friends and disciples,as well as many local chronicles about Huang Gan’s life are still to be verified.Based on the comprehensive collection of Huang Gan’s family background,life and works,and the carding and textual research of the time of the relevant deeds and the formation date of the relevant works,this paper revises the relevant records in the Mianzhaixianshenghuangwensugongnianpu,and supplements the missing records,so as to form a more detailed and practical chronicle of Huang Gan’s deeds,In order to deepen the understanding of Huang Gan’s family and life in the chemical field,so as to promote the research of Huang Gan and the Neo Confucianismt figures in the Southern Song Dynasty.In addition to the "Introduction",the full text has three parts:the first part lists Huang Gan’s works,anthologies and editions;The second part combs Huang Gan’s family lineage and relatives;The third part arranges Huang Gan’s life story and works in chronological order.Since the Song Dynasty,many scholars have sorted out the editions of Huang Gan’s works,but the relevant achievements have been lost or incomplete.After sorting out and comparing Huang Gan’s works and their editions,the most important reference of this paper is the edition of the second year of Yanyou in Yuan Dynasty,which is the Mianzhaixianshenghuangwensugongwenji.Huang Gan’s family members and main relatives are slightly mentioned in the existing Mianzhaixianshenghuangwensugongnianpu,which is not enough to show his family lineage systematically and the relationship between his relatives.This paper is supplemented by the records in the genealogy of Huang Gan’s family,the collection of official documents of HuangGan and other local chronicles.The chronology of Huang Gan’s deeds and works is the main part of this paper.Based on the chronology of Huang Gan as the outline and basic historical data,this paper arranges Huang Gan’s life experience according to the year and year,and shows the textual research problems and basis in the form of notes.The historical materials quoted in the notes are first arranged according to the degree of relevance and then chronological order,striving to make textual research on Huang Gan’s deeds from various aspects,mainly based on Huang Gan’s own records and supplemented by the relevant literature of his teachers,friends and disciples.The final "conclusion" is a summary of Huang Gan’s life and works.
