| Edward Elgar(1857—1934),one of the most important British composers in the 20th century,known as Beethoven of England.The "Sonata for Violin and Piano in E Minor" composed by Elgar in his later period shows a typical "Elgar" style and technique,which is of great significance to chamber music in the 20th century.The article will analyze and study from three parts.The first part will summarize Elgar’s life and creation,and will give an overview of the background of Elgar’s"Sonata for Violin and Piano in E minor".The second part analyzes the music ontology,and grasps the characteristics of the works from the aspects of music structure,mode and harmony.The third part,based on the music ontology,explores how to interpret the music image of this piece of music with actual performance,select the techniques and exercises that are important to the interpretation of music to explain in detail. |
