Textbooks play an indispensable role in Chinese teaching.High quality textbooks can achieve twice the result with half the effort in classroom teaching,so it is necessary to study Chinese textbooks. At present, there have been some excellent research results on the Primary Chinese Reading Course Textbooks, but the practicality and pertinence of the research results are still lacking. We take two popular Primary Chinese Reading Textbooks(Revised Chinese Reading Course Volume 1 and Primary Chinese Reading Course I)as the object of study and comparison, and analyze their similarities and differences in the overall structure and vocabulary compilation. After our research,we found that although the two textbooks have their own advantages in terms of overall structure, there are still many areas should be improved about vocabulary compilation. For example,in terms of vocabulary quantity, vocabulary level, vocabulary arrangement and vocabulary interpretation, there are some problems, such as too many new words in a single class, too high vocabulary level, unreasonable vocabulary arrangement and incorrect vocabulary interpretation. The arrangement and design of some vocabularies are not suitable for the learners of Primary Chinese Level, nor conducive to the improvement of their Chinese level, and even make the learners have a series of psychological and emotional problems. We believe that there are some problems should be solved immediately in the compilation of vocabulary in the existing primary Chinese reading textbooks, these problems need to be paid attention to and improved in the process of compiling textbooks in the future. We should not only focus on the actual Chinese Level and learning ability of Primary Chinese learners, but also try to avoid many deficiencies in the future compiling design. |
