Research On The Application Of "Line" Material Language In Modern Sculpture

The emergence of linear material sculpture art creation is a special promotion of the development of the times.Creative practices,process technology and artistic characteristics of linear material sculpture are unique.Linear sculpture creation is based on linear materials as the carrier,using arrangement,combination and other methods of composition to shape,through the law of formal beauty to express the form space of linear sculpture,mainly taking line as the basic modeling element,studying linear type characteristics such as straight line and curve and applying them to linear sculpture creation.Such as the linear composition sculpture that expresses order and power sense needs to use linear wire,and the curve wire is used to express some beautiful and natural ones,so as to inject theoretical guidance into the creation of linear material sculpture.At the same time,the linear materials have a fine grasp of the forms of different shapes and forms,thus providing a wide space and possibility for the creation of linear materials and linear composition sculpture.The forms of composition are supplemented by the linear wire,the curve wire and the material beauty.The combination of the material beauty and the formal beauty has made language expression of linear sculpture richer and further,especially express the material beauty of linear materials and the form beauty of composition into the whole works of linear composition,forming a unique principle of formal beauty that combines shape,color and material.In this way,the linear materials applied to linear sculpture creation have a formal aesthetic feeling on the whole.Meanwhile,linear modeling forms a linear modeling structure as a whole,giving a formal aesthetic feeling to linear sculpture,and making a sculpture form of space division as a whole.This paper combines the form expression,modeling techniques of modern andcontemporary artists’ linear sculpture creation with the inheritance and influence of modern abstract and concrete sculpture,according to the actual case analysis,this paper forms the research of linear sculpture.This paper takes “the application research of linear material language in modern sculpture” as the title.There are four chapters in total.The first chapter is mainly about linear composition and linear sculpture,and gives a basic overview of line and linear composition and line and sculpture.The second chapter analyzes and summarizes the application and characteristics of linear materials in modern sculpture through the analysis of the linear sculpture works of modern and contemporary artists,and explores the artistic characteristics of linear sculpture from the constitution of linear sculpture.The third chapter mainly analyzes the modern concept,artistic characteristics and formal rules of linear sculpture from the perspective of linear aesthetics in modern aesthetics,so as to further study the artistic value of linear sculpture,and discuss the significance and unique language composition of linear sculpture art in modern sculpture.The fourth chapter is the application practice of linear material sculpture creation,thinking about the creation concept of linear sculpture in the context of modern culture,and how to express and use linear material to create linear sculpture works with the spirit and connotation of the times.Finally,through the creation of linear sculpture works to think and summarize.
