A Practice Report On The Business Interpretation Of Israel Agrotechnical Team And Fangchenggang Real Estate Company

The globalization of the world economy,politics,culture,education and other fields highlights the importance of business interpretation for economic and trade.The interpreters play a variety of roles,not only as promoters of national economic development,but also as spreaders of culture.This report is based on the author’s interpreting practice for the business meeting between Israel agrotechnical team and Fangchenggang Real Estate Company.During the practice,the author served as the interpreter.The author made much preparation which includes terminology,background knowledge and psychology as well as interpreting tools.When analyzing the interpretation,the report is not limited to the linguistic aspects such as words and expressions in interpreting.The report divides the problems in this interpretation into three different aspects,firstly the vocabulary and expression aspect,secondly the business communication aspect,and finally the cultural aspect.On the one hand,the report analyses the overstepping problem in the negotiation,which is a serious interpreting problem that must be attached importance to.On the other hand,this report analyses the performance of the interpreter in dealing with cultural differences of table manners and religious belief.Besides,the report also analyzes well-used interpreting strategies,including addition,domestication,simplification and anticipation.At the same time,based on this practical experience,the interpreter puts forward several learning suggestions at the end of the thesis,and try to be an excellent messenger in language and culturalcommunication in the future,and the majority of interpreting learners could get some help from this report as well.
