As social competition intensifies,more and more students feel tremendously stressed.Tension and a sense of loss of control caused by pressure is likely to make themselves disoriented and decrease levels of self-differentiation,leading to social avoidance and distress.Good social activities is a prerequisite for the development of individual physical and mental health,social avoidance and distress states have adverse effects on learning life and mental health among the college students.In order to explore the influencing factors and mechanism of social avoidance and distress,use pressure perception as a starting point to explore the role of intermediary between the pressure of self-differentiation perception and social avoidance and distress.And on its basis,intervention has important theoretical and practical significance for students to ease social avoidance and distress.Therefore,provide operational intervention programs to solve practical problems for the students of the social avoidance and distress.This thesis consists of two studies:In the first study,use random sampling method to facilitate random sample of1010 subjects as college students to carry out the survey.Perceived stress levels,social avoidance and distress situation,the level of self-differentiation among college students were measured by using "Chinese Perceived Stress Scale ","Social Avoidance and Distress Scale " and "Differentiation of Self Inventory " to explore the situation of College Students’ perceived stress as well as its relationship with self-differentiation,and social avoidance and distress.The second one:On the basis of the first study,on recruiting volunteers through posters,network publicity,etc.,score in the end self-differentiation low score(the average scoreless than 3.5),while social avoidance and distress scores 12.68 points in the above(that is social withdrawal and distress)of college students as subjects,the rational allocation of subjects into the experimental and control groups based on grade,gender,etc.each group of 10 people.Group psychological counseling using an integrated group intervention program based on self-differentiation theory.Members of the experimental group intervened for six weeks,once a week for two hours of group counseling while control group did not intervene in order to examine the mentoring programs to enhance students self-differentiation and reduce its role in thesocial avoidance and distress.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:1.The Perceived Stress of college students is at a medium level,with significant differences in gender,major,and grade,and no significant differences in the place of origin;the self-differentiation of college students is at an upper middle level,with significant differences in gender,major,and grade,in the place of origin There is no significant difference;college students have a moderate degree of social avoidance and distress,and there are significant differences in gender,major,source and grade.2.Perceived Stress has a significant positive predictive effect on social avoidance and distress;perceived Stress has a significant negative predictive effect on self-differentiation;self-differentiation has a significant negative predictive effect on social avoidance and distress;self-differentiation plays an intermediary role in the relationship between perceived Stress and social avoidance and distress mediating effect 36.3% of the total effect.3.An integrated group intervention program based on the meaning of self-differentiation can improve the level of college students’ self-differentiation,reduce social avoidance behavior,and social distressing experience.
