With the rapid development of network technology,new educational technologies continue to emerge,and mobile learning applications are increasingly popular with learners.In the new media era of "Internet + education" today,it is of great significance to apply mobile phone learning applications to the teaching of Chinese as a second language.This is conducive to promoting the reform and innovation of the teaching model.Its development conforms to the era background of the great development of modern educational technology,and it can better meet the individualized learning needs of different Chinese learners.This article takes the Chinese learning app "Hello Chinese" as an example to discuss how to use this kind of software to assist the teaching of Chinese as a second language,and proposes improvements to the design of the Chinese learning app for assisted teaching.First,review and analyze the current status of theoretical and practical research on the application of Chinese learning apps to Chinese teaching through literature research methods,and clarify the weaknesses of Chinese learning apps in Chinese teaching research.It also analyzes the working system of Hello Chinese,an application software for Chinese learning,understands the learning content and learning methods covered by the APP,and proposes the concept of using Chinese learning apps to assist Chinese as a second language teaching.Secondly,based on Piaget’s constructivist theory and Bruner’s cognition-discovery theory and mixed learning theory,the Chinese learning app is applied to the pre-class preparation,in-class teaching and post-class review experiments to verify the teaching model concept of combining the two with teaching practice.Finally,combined with the results of questionnaire surveys and interviews,analyze the effectiveness and problems of this teaching model,and conduct teaching evaluation and reflection.The research results show that the integration of Chinese learning apps into the teaching of Chinese as a second language still has problems such as imperfect teaching resources and immature development of assisted teaching apps,but the combination of the two makes Chinese teaching more convenient and classroomteaching forms more abundant,which greatly meets the individualized learning needs of Chinese learners and enhances the fun of Chinese learning.At the same time,through the teaching practice of this study,we can draw inspiration on how to design and develop Chinese learning apps to enhance the validity of Chinese teaching,that is,to apply practicality,fun and interactivity as important design principles of Chinese learning apps applied to Chinese as a second language.
