Creative Practice Of The Original Dance Poem ‘Incense’

Quanzhou city of Fujian Province,where Matsu culture is prevalent,a solemn Matsu sacrificial ceremony is held here every year by believers both at home and abroad to pray for health,wealthy and family’s prosperity.The original dance poem ‘Incense’ extracts the excellent dance form and movement material both from ‘Eight Yi Dance’ of Matsu ceremonial dance and ‘18 steps of Liyuan Opera’ of Quanzhou traditional opera in the ceremony.The dance poem takes ‘family’s prosperity’ as the core and ‘pray’ as the line to explore its cultural connotation,to carry forward Minnan Culture by the form of dance,to explore religious culture with Quanzhou local features and creative practice of dancing art,and attempt to attract more attention and understanding the charm of combination of Quanzhou religious culture and stage dancing art by meas of stage dancing art.Through creative practice,the author keeps innovating on the basis of retaining the original folk custom ceremony and the traditional opera of Minnan,analyzes the creative practice and presentation of ‘Incense’,combining practical creation with theoretical research.
