Qinqiang Opera, which belongs to the tune opera,is one of the oldest operas in China’s rich and colorful opera art.It was conceived in Shaanxi and inherited the Qin culture’s charm and artistic style character. It is a broad art form that has been honed by countless artists through hard artistic creation.Qinqiang Opera, which originated during the Qin Dynasty,is known for its sonority, agitation, boldness, and tragic elements. It is precisely through the allure of "playing the old tune alone" that Qinqiang Opera’s figure reveals its distinct style characteristics. However, because Qinqiang Opera’s singing is truly wonderful and has earned the reputation of "generous voice and turbulent blood," people frequently overlook its artistic value in performance, let alone creating modern and contemporary dance works based on the figure of Qinqiang Opera. As a result, this paper uses Qinqiang Opera’s modern and contemporary dance choreography as a starting point for multi-angle research and exploration. This paper summarizes the morphological characteristics of Qinqiang Opera’s figure, puts forward the concept of "Danceification of Opera"and envisages the possibility of creating "Danceification of Opera".The author then takes "street dance" in modern and contemporary dance as the main fusion object, based on my own practical experience. This paper proposes a transformation from "Chinese Opera" to"Dance" through the use of dance choreography. The vocabulary of "Danceification of Opera" is integrated in three ways:grafting complementation, exaggeration and deformation, adaptation and re-creation,and illustration of the original works. The author created the work "A Story of Red Plum:Fearless" in continuous practice, and made innovations in the contemporary dance expression of Qinqiang Opera’s figure by breaking through the traditional narrative structure, seeking independent language expression, and combining contemporary aesthetic characteristics. As a result,"Chinese Opera" and "Dance" demonstrate the modern activation of effective connection.
