A Study On Cao Zhenji’s Poetry

Cao Zhenji was an important literary poet in the early Qing Dynasty.Yan dichang called him as one of poet who is good at writing poetry in the capital.Shen yiliu called him as one of three cao`s poets in the early Qing Dynasty,his poetry and ci are worthy of study.Cao Zhenji was born in the Ming Dynasty and grew up in the early Qing Dynasty.His life was rough,his father died in his childhood,his middle-aged brother died,and he experienced two earthquakes.His grandfather and brother died in political disaster.The main themes of Cao Zhenji’s poems are homesickness,expressing emotion of historical vicissitude and personal experience.In addition,the author also entrusted anti-war thoughts in the history poetry,sigh separation in the poetry of express hidden feeling,painting works increase the picture`s aesthetic feeling except showing the author`s ambitions,in addition to expressing sorrow,the works of mourning also sigh impermanence of life.In those same poetry that describing same object,Cao zhenji`s poetry also express the themes of hard life,amazing creations of nature,and record earthquake disasters.Although Cao Zhenji’s poems and Ci express the same theme,they follow different skills of writing,Cao zhenji`s poetry prefer to use narration,discussion,expressing ideas,which is related to the feature of traditional poems;Cao zhenji`s Ci pay attention to the expression of emotion,less documentary,which is inseparable from the dilute documentary,Cao`s Ci was influenced by the poetic style in early Qing dynasty,so he often used to allusions to chant.Cao zhenji`s poetry and Ci have multiple styles,his poetry was dominated by leisurely and comfortable style in his early life,and later he turned into a powerful style;Cao`s Ci have both graceful elegant style and powerful desolated style.Pinning deeply,natural and elegant language,clever use of imagery are common artistic characteristics of his poems.He often suspiciously expresses his emotions in those poems of chanting,writing sceneries,and inscriptions.The language of Cao zhenji`s poetry and Ci is natural,sometimes with spoken language;the elegant language is special style of Cao`s Ci,he didn`t use gingerbready words,but use implicative words,Cao Zhenji cleverly used the two images of "dreams" and "customers" to make his poetic works express his profound emotions deeper.There are two main aspects of Cao Zhenji’s literary thoughts: “separating but connection”,diverse literary thoughts.“separating but connection” means that learn the core when learning predecessors,avoid appearances,innovating in following the characteristics of poetry and valuing emotions are the principles of practicing the literary thought.Cao Zhenji’s works have diverse themes,styles,aesthetics.He has learned extensively from his predecessors,and has compatible inclusive and diverse literary ideas.
