Poor college students are one of the important groups in social colleges and universities.A large number of studies have shown that the mental health status of poor college students is lower than that of non-poor college students. In addition to their own psychological conditions, poor students sometimes have to face the discrimination or prejudice against poor students in the social environment, which leads to or intensifies the perceived discrimination of poor students, and the perceived discrimination hinders individual development far more than poverty itself. In order to help poor college students improve their mental health,we hope to pave the way for the possibility of individual healthy development by studying and exploring the relationship between perceived discrimination, the resilience and subjective well-being.This study consists of two parts: in study 1,the questionnaire survey method is mainly used as a research method to compare the survey results of 500 poor college students and 360 non-poor college students, and the characteristics and relations of perceived discrimination, the resilience and subjective well-being of poor college students are emphatically analyzed. In study 2,based on the results of study 1,the researchers combined discrimination perception and the resilience to develop a group counseling program, and conducted intervention on 15 poor college students. The results show:(1)The resilience and subjective well-being of poor college students are lower than that of non-poor college students, and the perceived discrimination is higher than that of non-poor college students.(2)The resilience of poor college students is influenced by gender and family atmosphere;Life satisfaction is influenced by gender, place of origin, family atmosphere and the educational level of father and mother;Positive emotions areinfluenced by the family atmosphere.(3)The perception of discrimination among poor college students is not related to demographic variables, while the resilience and subjective well-being are related to demographic variables.Among them, the gender of poor college students is different, their family atmosphere and the resilience are also different;Gender, place of origin, family atmosphere and the degree of education of father and mother are different, their life satisfaction is different; They have different positive emotions depending on the family atmosphere.(4)The group counseling program developed in this study effectively reduced the perceived discrimination of poor college students, improved the level of resilience, and thus improved their subjective well-being,with good even effect and lasting effect. |
