Survey Report On The Development Status Of The Confucius Institute At Cairo University In Egypt

The “One Belt One Road” is a great initiative that put forward by China as globalization further develops.Egypt,as an initiative country along the “One Belt One Road”,which the development of Confucius institutes in Egypt is an important way to realize “people-to-people connection” in the initiative of "One Belt One Road".The Confucius Institute at Cairo University,as the largest Confucius institute in Egypt,which is development of operation plays an important role in the Chinese language teaching,cultural exchange and communication in Egypt.The paper studies the development status of Confucius Institute at Cairo University,Egypt.It refers to through the questionnaire survey,interview,fieldwork and other research methods to conduct in-depth investigations and studies on the development status of Confucius Institute at Cairo University,Egypt.The paper has five parts: the first chapter mainly discusses the reason for selecting,meaning and objective of the topic,the research status and research methods.The second chapter introduces the establishment and development of the Confucius Institute at Cairo University.In chapter three shows the development of the Confucius Institute at Cairo University from four aspects: the operation mode,Chinese language teaching,cultural activities and scholarship applications.In chapter four,the author points out four problems based on the investigation,for example,the operation mode,Chinese teaching,cultural activities and scholarships of Confucius Institutes at Cairo University.In chapter five,according to the problems found in chapter four,the author makes her own suggestions for each aspect.It is found that the Confucius Institute at Cairo University in Egypt has gradually entered the stage of sustainable development.Meanwhile,it needs to renew and adjust itself in a planned way,continuously improve the quality and level of education,focus on industrial operation and enhance market competitiveness so that realize the goal of sustainable development of the Confucius Institute.
